What Tribe discusses stereotypes. It’s a group show that I created so artists could create a pro-active dialogue about racist cliches. A constructive and critical view of the issue was needed and lacking I felt. It’s not enough to just cry foul or fail about issues we face.

We must look for direct solutions to problems if we are going to continually criticize society. Art might seem a simple solution to a multi-faceted problem but I felt it was better than hitting someone over the head with a sign on the street.

(Not that there’s anything wrong with that :)
